Each designation requires the successful completion of a comprehensive examination based on a core body of knowledge presented in the course curriculum and other referenced sources.

At the Building Envelope Science Institute (BESI) our experts train and certify industry professionals using nearly 30 years of building envelope knowledge and field experience.
From the foundation to the highest apex of the roof, the building envelope encompasses all aspects of a building’s structure. Our aim is to teach students what it takes to make a structurally sound building envelope, ensure safety and to optimize a building’s life expectancy while reducing reparation costs.
